The Ariana Palace is set in a 3 hectares park. It was built in 1884 and houses a museum of ceramics and glass artefacts. The park's most popular features is a huge japanese bell which was gifted to the city of Geneva in 1991 by a Japanese city. Very near to this park is the Vieux-Bois restaurant, seat of the Geneva hotel school. Students of the hotel school work in the restaurant.
