Can I deposit cash the day I open the account?

For all accounts except for the Swiss postal account, you can deposit cash the day you come. To do this you must have brought sufficient information about the economic origin of the funds and be able to explain us the specific origin of the cash you wish to deposit. Swiss customs do not impose restrictions on the amount of cash you can bring in although you should be able to prove it is of legal origin if asked.
